Fujian Huian County 15, said in a news conference here, known as “Chinese carving artist of all”, “Chinese Folk Art (sculpture) of the town” reputation Huian County, will be held on 25 April Sixth China (Huian) sculpture Festival and “Wing Fat Cup” stone Grand Prix.
The theme of “sea stone language” of the current Chinese carving art festival, by the China Arts and Crafts Society and co-sponsored by Huian County, including stone carving Grand Prix, and foreign exchange artists carving, sculpture art display, Wai Yi Hui female style carving photography show, “stone stone products” industry-standard technology seminars and other events.
Stone carving art of the current Grand Prix is a major highlight of the festival. According to the organizers to statistics, the Grand Prix were received from 41 countries and regions overseas, the 282 application works and artists throughout China’s 315 application works. The jury of experts selected a total of Top 50 finalists, including 15 foreign entries short-listed artists from Italy, Germany, the United States, Georgia and other 15 countries. 15-day live competition will create a centralized, focused approach awards, all participants in the organizing committee arranged a specified time and place, use the raw materials provided by the Organizing Committee in accordance with requirements of writing contest theme.
